On January 11th 2013, Troop 61 members journeyed 200 miles into the White Mountains of New Hampshire for a weekend of Ice Climbing Fun. In fellowship with Sudbury Troop 60, Sudbury Troop 63 and the Venture Crew 1776, more than 55 individuals scaled the icy slopes. With Ice Axes in hand, and crampons firmly attached to the their climbing boots and a safety rope for extra comfort, each unit member tested themselves and climbed to their limit. After a full day of climbing, a pizza dinner and early lights out was welcomed by all.
It was a really fun night. We hiked up to our cabin, had pizza, and watched a great movie!
